Industry Engagement
Companies can become part of our community and collaborate with our outstanding team of faculty and researchers from across Stanford University by joining the industrial affiliates program or participating in member-supported projects.
Industrial Affiliates Program Membership Levels
The Sustainable Mobility Center offers three industrial membership levels:

Member-Supported Projects
Companies are invited to participate in the Sustainable Mobility Center through in-depth collaborations with Stanford faculty members on specific mutually interesting research topics. The Sustainable Mobility Center works closely with industry supporters and Stanford faculty to identify such topics and cultivate collaborations through facilitated conversations and engagement. The scale and scope of member-supported projects is dependent on the duration and availability of funds from members.
The Sustainable Mobility Center will use and develop open-source software, and it is the intention of the Sustainable Mobility Center that any software will be released under an open source model.
All Sustainable Mobility Center members are subject to Stanford University Policies for Industry Affiliates Programs.
All visiting scholars must comply with Stanford University visiting scholars guidelines.
The site presentations and all information, data and results arising from such visitation interactions will be shared with all members and the public.
All engagements follow Stanford policies; membership supports program and research priorities and does not guarantee specific research outcomes.
